英国12病院多施設共同RCT
2013－2019年1346人（BMI 46）に肥満代謝手術を施行
過剰体重の50%以上減量できた割合は、
胃バイパス手術群の405人中276人（68%）
胃バンディング手術群の383人中97人（25%）
スリーブ状胃切除手術群の342人中141人（41%）
術後3年死亡は11例で、そのうち1例は手術入院中。
「高度肥満において、胃バイパス術、スリーブ状胃切除術は、胃バンディング術より効果的である」
